By submitting this form, you agree that A*STAR and its related entities, including its subsidiaries, operations groups, corporate groups, functionalized units, and research institutes (collectively, the “A*STAR Group”), may collect, use and disclose the personal data you have submitted for the purposes of: creating an account for you to access the A*STAR Scholarship Portal for scholarship applications; evaluating your scholarship/award application; offering job and scholarship opportunities in the future; contacting you to provide information on scholarships, outreach/scholarship events and A*STAR developments; inviting you to participate in future studies/surveys; tracking and studying the trends and demographics of our scholarship programmes; and to inform policy review and formulation.
The A*STAR Group may also back up or archive your personal data in secure, centralized IT systems, and disclose your personal data where necessary when collaborating with third party businesses or organisations, engaging third party service providers, for business or administrative purposes, and for any investigation or proceeding. The A*STAR Group may also disclose your personal data to Ministries, Statutory Boards and other Singapore Public Agencies. As some third parties may be located outside of Singapore, your personal data may be transferred out of Singapore from time to time.
